Chair Person & British League Secretary—Steve Steel “Mr C”

A ETTA Level 2 Coach, soon to be UKCC L2,  Steve is the Sussex County Vice Chairman and has represented both the Brighton League and Sussex County at Junior Level. A Pavilion member for 29 years, Steve has played in the Brighton Premier for over 20 years. Steve also runs our Monday evening School Coaching sessions

Vice Chair—Pauline Steel

An ETTA Level 2 Coach of some 30+ years, Pauline brings a wealth of TT experience to Pavilion. Pauline has represented both League & County at Senior and Veteran Levels and also England in the over 60’s

Secretary—Ged Yeend “Jan-Ove”

Ged brings 30+ years experience to the club and is the driving force behind the clubs league teams, Ged is also always there supporting all the clubs activities and is a qualified ETTA Tournament Organiser.

Treasurer—Alan Brown “The Angle”

Alan is another of our original members, a member since 1976, Alan plays his Table Tennis in Division 1 of the Brighton League. Alan is an accountant and holds the purse strings for Pavilion.

Senior Representative—Peter Shead “The Major”

Pete brings vast experience to Pavilion , his playing career lasting over 6 decades, at his peak  representing his country whilst ranked No4 in England and reaching the last 16 in the World Championships. Peter has also represented Sussex , Brighton and Blackpool at Senior levels and more recently is a Premier and Division 1 player in the Brighton League.

An ETTA Level 3 Coach, soon to be UKCC L2, Stuart has been a Pavilion member for 25 years. Stuart has represented both Sussex and Brighton at Junior Levels and been a Premier standard player for some 20 years. As development officer for Pavilion Stuart is currently focused on increasing participation of Table Tennis generally and working towards greater local school involvement in Table Tennis

Carol is a leader for the Brownies and Guides so brings the skills to support our membership as Welfare Officer, along with hours of background work for Pavilion.

An ETTA Level 2 Coach, soon to be UKCC L2, and also a school teacher, Peter is a strong believer in practice routines and is our club Multi Ball provider. A Premier standard player, Peter plays alongside his children, Helen (aka STORM) and Michael, both promising County Junior players.

Our 1st UKCC Level 2 Coach, Steve is a Brighton and Worthing Premier Division player and  is a Senior British League player. Stephen has recently passed his coaching qualifications and is looking to forge a career in Sports Development.

Mike a Division 2 player in the Brighton League has returned to TT after some 15 years away from the game. He is our current Premier Club contact working as part of the clubs Development Team.
