British League—September Match Reports

British League Division 1 South

The opening weekend for Pavilion in British League 1 saw a controlled and disciplined squad performance with 5-3, 7-1, and 5-3 wins over Batts Team Peniel II, Urban Progress I and Cippenham I, before succumbing 5-3 to the team relegated from the  Premiership last season, Fusion I.

Former England junior Chris Sladden back from a long break oozed class and won with ease his first 5 matches until he met the man mountain Remigijus Petrosius  from Fusion.  When he has had more than a couple of weeks serious training that he enjoyed at team mate’s Eli Baraty’s summer camp, then he promises to be a force to be reckoned with for the rest of the season.

Ashley Stokes strong performance from  the number one position supported by Dov Katz and Eli Baraty plus a  4-2 debut contribution from youngster Da Shuai Zhang completed an all round solid weekend with the prospect of more to follow.
